Thurlstone is on the south coast of Devon to the west of Kingsbridge. It is easily accessed from the A379. The beaches are situated to the East of Bigbury Bay and face West. It is a good freeride / bump and jump location, which really only works in a S-SW. The waves are never as big as those found at Bigbury. It offers a good alternative location to Bigbury.
